The Tri-Town SEPAC provides education, support, and assistance to parents/guardians of children with special needs in Boxford, Middleton and Topsfield on Special Education issues and services. We strive to encourage an atmosphere of effective communication, understanding, mutual respect, and appropriate education for all children with disabilities in our community and to ensure that students’ needs are being met under Massachusetts Special Education laws and regulations and other applicable laws.
Our Goals
Be a resource for parents
Provide information about disabilities and the special education process
Promote a network for parents and provide a forum for sharing information
Establish a partnership between Tri-Town Elementary Schools and Masconomet Regional Schools
Be a resource to the School Committee for planning, development, and evaluation of special education programs
Facilitate a productive partnership between parents with children in special education programs and the school
Provide feedback and input to the Tri-Town Elementary Schools and Masconomet Regional School Special Education Departments
Be a resource for the community
Promote a community wide understanding of the issues impacting special education
Encourage community commitment to support diversity within the education system
Inform members and community about state law and any other pertinent state mandates
